| CVE-2022-28737 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| There's a possible overflow in handle_image() when shim tries to load and execute crafted EFI executables; The handle_image() function takes into account the SizeOfRawData field from each section to be loaded. An attacker can leverage this to perform out-of-bound writes into memory. Arbitrary code execution is not discarded in such scenario. | ||||
| CVE-2022-27950 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |

| A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in IPsec ESP transformation code in net/ipv4/esp4.c and net/ipv6/esp6.c. This flaw allows a local attacker with a normal user privilege to overwrite kernel heap objects and may cause a local privilege escalation threat. | ||||
| CVE-2022-27651 | 3 Buildah Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Buildah, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in buildah where containers were incorrectly started with non-empty default permissions. A bug was found in Moby (Docker Engine) where containers were incorrectly started with non-empty inheritable Linux process capabilities, enabling an attacker with access to programs with inheritable file capabilities to elevate those capabilities to the permitted set when execve(2) runs. This has the potential to impact confidentiality and integrity. | ||||
| CVE-2022-27649 | 3 Fedoraproject, Podman Project, Redhat | 15 Fedora, Podman, Developer Tools and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Podman, where containers were started incorrectly with non-empty default permissions. A vulnerability was found in Moby (Docker Engine), where containers were started incorrectly with non-empty inheritable Linux process capabilities. This flaw allows an attacker with access to programs with inheritable file capabilities to elevate those capabilities to the permitted set when execve(2) runs. | ||||

| FreeType commit 1e2eb65048f75c64b68708efed6ce904c31f3b2f was discovered to contain a heap buffer overflow via the function sfnt_init_face. | ||||
| CVE-2022-27385 | 2 Mariadb, Redhat | 4 Mariadb, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| An issue in the component Used_tables_and_const_cache::used_tables_and_const_cache_join of MariaDB Server v10.7 and below was discovered to allow attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via specially crafted SQL statements. | ||||
| CVE-2022-26691 | 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 9 Cups, Mac Os X, Macos and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.7 Medium |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in Security Update 2022-003 Catalina, macOS Monterey 12.3, macOS Big Sur 11.6.5. An application may be able to gain elevated privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2022-25636 | 5 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 16 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, H300e and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| net/netfilter/nf_dup_netdev.c in the Linux kernel 5.4 through 5.6.10 allows local users to gain privileges because of a heap out-of-bounds write. This is related to nf_tables_offload. | ||||
| CVE-2022-25265 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 20 Linux Kernel, Baseboard Management Controller Firmware, H300e and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel through 5.16.10, certain binary files may have the exec-all attribute if they were built in approximately 2003 (e.g., with GCC 3.2.2 and Linux kernel 2.4.20). This can cause execution of bytes located in supposedly non-executable regions of a file. | ||||
| CVE-2022-24448 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
| An issue was discovered in fs/nfs/dir.c in the Linux kernel before 5.16.5. If an application sets the O_DIRECTORY flag, and tries to open a regular file, nfs_atomic_open() performs a regular lookup. If a regular file is found, ENOTDIR should occur, but the server instead returns uninitialized data in the file descriptor. | ||||
| CVE-2022-24407 | 6 Cyrusimap, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 14 Cyrus-sasl, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| In Cyrus SASL 2.1.17 through 2.1.27 before 2.1.28, plugins/sql.c does not escape the password for a SQL INSERT or UPDATE statement. | ||||
| CVE-2022-24070 | 5 Apache, Apple, Debian and 2 more | 7 Subversion, Macos, Debian Linux and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| Subversion's mod_dav_svn is vulnerable to memory corruption. While looking up path-based authorization rules, mod_dav_svn servers may attempt to use memory which has already been freed. Affected Subversion mod_dav_svn servers 1.10.0 through 1.14.1 (inclusive). Servers that do not use mod_dav_svn are not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2022-23960 | 4 Arm, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 45 Cortex-a57, Cortex-a57 Firmware, Cortex-a65 and 42 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.6 Medium |
| Certain Arm Cortex and Neoverse processors through 2022-03-08 do not properly restrict cache speculation, aka Spectre-BHB. An attacker can leverage the shared branch history in the Branch History Buffer (BHB) to influence mispredicted branches. Then, cache allocation can allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2022-23959 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.1 Critical |

| CVE-2022-23307 | 4 Apache, Oracle, Qos and 1 more | 44 Chainsaw, Log4j, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 41 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| CVE-2020-9493 identified a deserialization issue that was present in Apache Chainsaw. Prior to Chainsaw V2.0 Chainsaw was a component of Apache Log4j 1.2.x where the same issue exists. | ||||
| CVE-2022-23305 | 6 Apache, Broadcom, Netapp and 3 more | 46 Log4j, Brocade Sannav, Snapmanager and 43 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
| By design, the JDBCAppender in Log4j 1.2.x accepts an SQL statement as a configuration parameter where the values to be inserted are converters from PatternLayout. The message converter, %m, is likely to always be included. This allows attackers to manipulate the SQL by entering crafted strings into input fields or headers of an application that are logged allowing unintended SQL queries to be executed. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use the JDBCAppender, which is not the default. Beginning in version 2.0-beta8, the JDBCAppender was re-introduced with proper support for parameterized SQL queries and further customization over the columns written to in logs. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions. | ||||
