| Deskflow is a keyboard and mouse sharing app. Prior to 1.26.0.167, a remote, unauthenticated denial of service (DoS) vulnerability affects Deskflow servers running with TLS enabled (the default). When any TCP peer connects to the listening port and its first bytes do not parse as a valid TLS ClientHello, SecureSocket::secureAccept enters its fatal-error branch and calls Arch::sleep(1) (a blocking 1-second sleep) on the multiplexer worker thread. That thread services every socket on the server, including established TLS clients delivering mouse motion, keyboard events, and clipboard updates. A single failed handshake therefore stalls input delivery to all connected screens for ~1 second, and a sustained drip of malformed connections (≥ 1/s) makes the server effectively unusable while the attack persists. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.26.0.167. |
| nanoMODBUS through v1.22.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow in recv_read_registers_res() in nanomodbus.c. When a client calls nmbs_read_holding_registers() or nmbs_read_input_registers(), the library writes register data from the server response to the caller-provided buffer based on the response's byte_count field before validating that byte_count matches the requested quantity. A malicious Modbus TCP server can send a response with byte_count=250 (125 registers) regardless of the requested quantity, causing up to 248 bytes of attacker-controlled data to overflow the buffer, potentially allowing remote code execution. |
| lwjson 1.8.1 contains an improper input validation vulnerability in the streaming JSON parser (lwjson_stream.c). The end-of-string detection logic incorrectly identifies escaped quote characters by only checking the immediately preceding character rather than counting consecutive backslashes, causing valid JSON strings ending with an escaped backslash (like "\\") to never terminate parsing. A remote attacker can send well-formed JSON to cause applications using lwjson_stream_parse() to hang indefinitely, resulting in denial of service. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in [Rancher's Extensions](https://ranchermanager.docs.rancher.com/integrations-in-rancher/rancher-extensions) where malicious code can be injected in Rancher through a path traversal in the `compressedEndpoint` field inside a `UIPlugin` deployment. A malicious UI extension could abuse that to: * Overwrite Rancher binaries or configuration to inject code.
* Write to /var/lib/rancher/ to tamper with cluster state.
* If hostPath volumes are mounted, write to the host node filesystem.
* Use this issue to chain with other attack vectors. |
| The LifePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'n' parameter of the lp_update_mds AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.2. This is due to the `wp_ajax_nopriv_lp_update_mds` action being registered without nonce verification or capability checks, combined with insufficient input sanitization and output escaping when the series name is rendered in the admin settings page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection in versions up to, and including, 1.4.17 due to insufficient escaping on user supplied parameters and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query in the getListForTbl() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. NOTE: This issue is partially mitigated by a patch in version 1.4.11 that adds a nonce check for a nonce that is only available to administrators. |

| YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5 and 3.2.12, the application's database logger (YAFNET.Core/Logger/DbLogger.cs) captures the incoming request's User-Agent header into a JObject, serializes it with JsonConvert, and stores the result in the EventLog.Description column whenever an event (e.g., an unhandled exception) is logged. The admin event-log page (YetAnotherForum.NET/Pages/Admin/EventLog.cshtml.cs) later deserializes that JSON in FormatStackTrace() and interpolates the UserAgent value directly into an HTML string with no encoding, and the Razor view EventLog.cshtml emits the result through @Html.Raw. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5 and 3.2.12. |
| YetAnotherForum.NET (YAF.NET) is a C# ASP.NET forum. Prior to 4.0.5, Any admin OnPost… handler executes its side effects before the ResultFilterAttribute rewrites the response to a 302 to /Info/4. The most impactful abuse is /Admin/RunSql, whose OnPostRunQuery binds Editor from the POST body and passes it straight to IDbAccess.RunSql with no caller check, yielding arbitrary SQL execution for any low-privileged user. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.5. |
