CVSS v3.1 |
OpenObserve is a cloud-native observability platform. A vulnerability in the user management endpoint `/api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` allows an "Admin" role user to remove a "Root" user from the organization. This violates the intended privilege hierarchy, enabling a non-root user to remove the highest-privileged account. Due to insufficient role checks, the `remove_user_from_org` function does not prevent an "Admin" user from removing a "Root" user. As a result, an attacker with an "Admin" role can remove critical "Root" users, potentially gaining effective full control by eliminating the highest-privileged accounts. The `DELETE /api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` endpoint is affected. This issue has been addressed in release version `0.14.1` and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
In Thermo Fisher Scientific Xcalibur before 4.7 SP1 and Thermo Foundation Instrument Control Software (ICSW) before 3.1 SP10, the driver packages have a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to improper access control permissions on Windows systems.
Northern.tech CFEngine Enterprise Mission Portal 3.24.0, 3.21.5, and below allows XSS. The fixed versions are 3.24.1 and 3.21.6.
Northern.tech Mender Client 4.x before 4.0.5 has Insecure Permissions.
The ARMember Premium plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 6.7. This is due to incorrectly implemented nonce validation function on multiple functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify, or delete user meta and plugin options which can lead to limited privilege escalation.
An issue was discovered in DTEX DEC-M (DTEX Forwarder) 6.1.1. The com.dtexsystems.helper service, responsible for handling privileged operations within the macOS DTEX Event Forwarder agent, fails to implement critical client validation during XPC interprocess communication (IPC). Specifically, the service does not verify the code requirements, entitlements, security flags, or version of any client attempting to establish a connection. This lack of proper logic validation allows malicious actors to exploit the service's methods via unauthorized client connections, and escalate privileges to root by abusing the DTConnectionHelperProtocol protocol's submitQuery method over an unauthorized XPC connection.
DocIO in Syncfusion Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC before 27.1.55 throws XMLException during the resaving of a DOCX document with an external reference XML, aka I640714.
File Manager in Syncfusion Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC before 27.1.55 has a traversal issue that is related to the request parameter, aka I644734.
SQL Injection vulnerability in the default configuration of the Logitime WebClock application <= 5.43.0 allows an unauthenticated user to run arbitrary code on the backend database server.
The SCSS Happy Compiler – Compile SCSS to CSS & Automatic Enqueue plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to a missing capability check and insufficient sanitization on the import_settings() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.10. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject malicious web scripts.
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability due to a missing bounds check in the NI I/O Trace Tool may result in arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to provide a user with a specially crafted nitrace file.
The NI I/O Trace tool is installed as part of the NI System Configuration utilities included with many NI software products. Refer to the NI Security Advisory for identifying the version of NI IO Trace.exe installed. The NI I/O Trace tool was also previously released as NI Spy. |
gitingest before 9996a06 mishandles symbolic links that point outside of the base directory.
Cognition Devin before 2024-12-12 provides write access to code by an attacker who discovers the https://vscode-randomly_generated_string.devinapps.com URL (aka the VSCode live share URL) for a specific "Use Devin's Machine" session. For example, this URL may be discovered if a customer posts a screenshot of a Devin session to social media, or publicly streams their Devin session.
The Stratum – Elementor Widgets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘label_years’ attribute within the Countdown widget in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Smart Toilet Lab - Motius 1.3.11 is running with debug mode turned on (DEBUG = True) and exposing sensitive information defined in Django settings file through verbose error page.
notion-go is a collection of libraries for supporting sign and verify OCI artifacts. Based on Notary Project specifications. This issue was identified during Quarkslab's audit of the timestamp feature. During the timestamp signature generation, the revocation status of the certificate(s) used to generate the timestamp signature was not verified. During timestamp signature generation, notation-go did not check the revocation status of the certificate chain used by the TSA. This oversight creates a vulnerability that could be exploited through a Man-in-The-Middle attack. An attacker could potentially use a compromised, intermediate, or revoked leaf certificate to generate a malicious countersignature, which would then be accepted and stored by `notation`. This could lead to denial of service scenarios, particularly in CI/CD environments during signature verification processes because timestamp signature would fail due to the presence of a revoked certificate(s) potentially disrupting operations. This issue has been addressed in release version 1.3.0-rc.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
pdftools is a high level tools to convert PDF files to ePUB formats. In versions up to and including 0.5.0 maliciously crafted epub files can cause a stack overflow leading to a crash. This issue has not yet been addressed and users are advised to avoid untrusted input to their systems.
The Piotnet Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.29 via the 'pafe_posts_list' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including titles and excerpts of future, draft, and pending blog posts.
pghoard is a PostgreSQL backup daemon and restore tooling that stores backup data in cloud object stores. A vulnerability has been discovered that could allow an attacker to acquire disk access with privileges equivalent to those of pghoard, allowing for unintended path traversal. Depending on the permissions/privileges assigned to pghoard, this could allow disclosure of sensitive information. This issue has been addressed in releases after 2.2.2a. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Improper signature verification in AMD CPU ROM microcode patch loader may allow an attacker with local administrator privilege to load malicious CPU microcode resulting in loss of confidentiality and integrity of a confidential guest running under AMD SEV-SNP.
