CVSS v3.1 |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in GPAC before commit v391dc7f4d234988ea0bc3cc294eb725eddf8f702 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service via the src/scenegraph/svg_attributes.c, svg_parse_strings(), gf_svg_parse_attribute() |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in mod_proxy_ajp of Apache HTTP Server.
If mod_proxy_ajp connects to a malicious AJP server this AJP server can send a malicious AJP message back to mod_proxy_ajp and cause it to write 4 attacker controlled bytes after the end of a heap based buffer.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.66.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. |
| A type confusion vulnerability in Qt SVG allows an attacker to cause an application crash via a crafted SVG image.
When processing SVG marker references, the renderer retrieves a node by its id attribute and casts it to QSvgMarker* without verifying the node type. A non-marker element (such as a <line> element) that references itself as a marker triggers an out-of-bounds heap read due to the object size difference between QSvgLine and QSvgMarker,
followed by an endless recursion that bypasses the marker recursion
guard through incorrect virtual dispatch. The result is an application
crash (denial of service).
This issue affects Qt SVG:
from 6.7.0 before 6.8.8, from 6.9.0 before 6.11.1. |
| Redis is an in-memory data structure store. In versions of redis-server up to 8.6.3, the RESTORE command does not properly validate serialized values. An authenticated attacker with permission to execute RESTORE can supply a crafted serialized payload that triggers invalid memory access and may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to restrict access to the RESTORE command with ACL rules. This is patched in version 8.6.3. |
| BusyBox before commit 42202bf contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the DHCPv6 client (udhcpc6) DNS_SERVERS option handler in networking/udhcp/d6_dhcpc.c that allows network-adjacent attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending a crafted DHCPv6 response with a malformed D6_OPT_DNS_SERVERS option. Attackers can exploit incorrect heap buffer allocation calculations in the option_to_env() function to cause denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution on embedded systems without heap hardening. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability exists in Assimp versions up to 6.0.2 in the FBX Importer. The vulnerability occurs in aiMaterial::AddBinaryProperty, where a property key string from a crafted FBX file is copied into a fixed-size heap buffer using strcpy() without runtime length validation |
| RDP protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service and possible code execution |
| A maliciously crafted 3DM file, when linked or imported into certain Autodesk products, can force a Heap-Based Overflow vulnerability. A malicious actor can leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, read sensitive data, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow in the Kerberos hash parser in hashcat v7.1.2 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted Kerberos hash file. The issue affects module_hash_decode in multiple Kerberos-related modules because account_info_len is calculated from untrusted delimiter positions without upper-bound validation before memcpy copies the data into a fixed-size account_info buffer. |
| SBC codec crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service and possible code execution |
| iLBC audio codec crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service |
| DCP-ETSI protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service |
| TLS protocol dissector heap overflow in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 allows denial of service and possible code execution |
| Crash in sharkd 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service |
| DCP-ETSI protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.14 allows denial of service |
| When processing the header of an incoming message, libnv failed to properly validate the message size.
The lack of validation allows a malicious program to write outside the bounds of a heap allocation. This can trigger a crash or system panic, and it may be possible for an unprivileged user to exploit the bug to elevate their privileges. |
| As dhclient is building an environment to pass to dhclient-script, it may need to resize the array of string pointers. The code which expands the array incorrectly calculates its new size when requesting memory, resulting in a heap buffer overrun.
A specially crafted packet can cause dhclient to overrun its buffer of environment entries. This can result in a crash, but it may be possible to leverage this bug to achieve remote code execution. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fortinet FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.6.2 through 7.6.4, FortiManager Cloud 7.6.2 through 7.6.4 may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or commands via specifically crafted requests. Successful exploitation would require a large amount of effort in preparation because of ASLR and network segmentation |
| A vulnerability was found in NASA cFS up to 7.0.0. This affects the function CFE_MSG_GetSize of the file apps/to_lab/fsw/src/to_lab_passthru_encode.c of the component CCSDS Packet Header Handler. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attacker must have access to the local network to execute the attack. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 6.0.0 to before 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5, if it is possible to connect to the Vite dev server’s WebSocket without an Origin header, an attacker can invoke fetchModule via the custom WebSocket event vite:invoke and combine file://... with ?raw (or ?inline) to retrieve the contents of arbitrary files on the server as a JavaScript string (e.g., export default "..."). The access control enforced in the HTTP request path (such as server.fs.allow) is not applied to this WebSocket-based execution path. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5. |
