Upgrading to version 2.89 and 2.90 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early about these issues and acted very professional. Version 2.89 is fixing this issue for new customers and 2.90 is going to fix it for existing customers. |
| A vulnerability was identified in SUR-FBD CMMS where hard-coded credentials were found within a compiled DLL file. These credentials correspond to a built-in administrative account of the software. An attacker with local access to the system or the application's installation directory could extract these credentials, potentially leading to a complete compromise of the application's administrative functions. This issue was fixed in version 2025.03.27 of the SUR-FBD CMMS software. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in NuCom NC-WR744G 8.5.5 Build 20200530.307. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component Console Application. The manipulation of the argument CMCCAdmin/useradmin/CUAdmin leads to hard-coded credentials. The attack can be initiated remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Use of hard-coded password issue/vulnerability in SS1 Ver.16.0.0.10 and earlier (Media version:16.0.0a and earlier) allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to view arbitrary files with root privileges. |
| A hard-coded weak password vulnerability has been discovered in all Magic-branded devices from Chinese network equipment manufacturer H3C. The vulnerability stems from the use of a hard-coded weak password for the root account in the /etc/shadow configuration or even the absence of any password at all. Some of these devices have the Telnet service enabled by default, or users can choose to enable the Telnet service in other device management interfaces (e.g. /debug.asp or /debug_telnet.asp). In addition, these devices have related interfaces called Virtual Servers, which can map the devices to the public network, posing the risk of remote attacks. Therefore, attackers can obtain the highest root privileges of the devices through the Telnet service using the weak password hardcoded in the firmware (or without a password), and remote attacks are possible. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Done-0 Jank up to 322caebbad10568460364b9667aa62c3080bfc17. Affected is an unknown function of the file internal/utils/jwt_utils.go of the component JWT Token Handler. The manipulation of the argument accessSecret/refreshSecret with the input jank-blog-secret/jank-blog-refresh-secret leads to use of hard-coded password. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. |
| A vulnerability was found in saltbo zpan up to 1.6.5/1.7.0-beta2. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function NewToken of the file zpan/internal/app/service/token.go of the component JSON Web Token Handler. The manipulation with the input 123 leads to use of hard-coded password. The attack may be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |

| Hardcoded Password Vulnerability have been found in CENTUM. Affected products contain a hardcoded password for the user account (PROG) used for CENTUM Authentication Mode within the system. Under the following conditions, there is a risk that an attacker could log in as the PROG user.
The default permission for the PROG users is S1 permission (equivalent to OFFUSER). Therefore, for properly permission-controlled targets of operation and monitoring, even if an attacker user in as the PROG user, the risk of critical operations or configuration changes being performed is considered low. (If the PROG user's permissions have been changed for any reason, there is a risk that operations or configuration changes may be performed under the modified permissions. The CVSS values below are for the default permissions.)
Additionally, exploiting this vulnerability requires an attacker to already have access to the HIS screen controls. Therefore, an attacker can already operate and monitor at that point, regardless of this vulnerability.
The conditions under which this vulnerability is exploited:
If all of the following conditions are met, the affected products are vulnerable to this vulnerability.
-An attacker obtains the hardcoded password using a certain method.
-The HIS with the affected product installed is configured in CTM authentication mode.
-An attacker must have direct access to the aforementioned HIS or be able to break into it remotely using a certain method and perform screen operations.
The affected products and versions are as follows: CENTUM VP R5.01.00 to R5.04.20, R6.01.00 to R6.12.00 and R7.01.00. |
| A use of hard-coded password vulnerability has been reported to affect Hyper Data Protector. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to gain unauthorized access.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
Hyper Data Protector 2.3.1.455 and later |
| Ksenia Security lares (legacy model) version 1.6 contains a default credentials vulnerability that allows unauthorized attackers to gain administrative access. Attackers can exploit the weak default administrative credentials to obtain full control of the home automation system. |

| A vulnerability was determined in Tenda F1202 1.2.0.9/1.2.0.14/1.2.0.20. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /etc_ro/shadow of the component Administrative Interface. This manipulation with the input Fireitup causes hard-coded credentials. The attack can only be executed locally. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is considered difficult. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. |
| Use of Hard-coded Password vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric GX Works3 versions from 1.000A to 1.090U, GT Designer3 Version1 (GOT2000) versions from 1.122C to 1.290C, and MT Works2 versions from 1.100E to 1.200J allows an unauthenticated attacker to disclose sensitive information. As a result, unauthenticated users may view programs and project files or execute programs illegally. |
